During the Miami Dolphins' joint practice with the Detroit Lions, Chop Robinson was carted off the field during a scrimmage period. There was a lot of concern about the injury, especially with the slew of other injuries throughout the week.
But, fortunately, Robinson revealed in an Instagram story that he was feeling good. Marcel Louis-Jacques, a Dolphins reporter for ESPN, shared Robinson's Instagram story, where the former Penn State linebacker said, "I'm good yall, nothing serious."

It's a sigh of relief for Dolphins fans, as the former Penn State Nittany Lions linebacker is one of the team's best defenders heading into the 2025 NFL season.
In 2024, with the Dolphins, Robinson began turning things up in the second half of his rookie year. From week eight on, Robinson secured six sacks, 16 tackles, six tackles for loss, 13 quarterback hits, four passes defended, all while playing just 55.6 percent of the snaps on defense.
The Penn State linebacker generated 20 pressures in his rookie season and was very impressive in the second half for the Dolphins. With the hope he'd be a major contributor once again, this injury scare was a big concern for the Dolphins.

But, as Robinson said, the injury scare was just that, a scare. While he might not play in the preseason again, this news is a sigh of relief.
The 22-year-old linebacker was a first-round pick out of Penn State by the Dolphins, thanks to his strong 2023 season. He had three sacks, 26 pressures, and looked like one of the best pass-rushing linebackers in college football.
Robinson was selected 21st overall by the Dolphins, and after a strong rookie season, there was a lot of anticipation in Miami that Robinson could turn the corner and be an even better pass rusher in 2025.
Fortunately for the Dolphins, their fans, and Robinson, the injury isn't serious. After being carted off the field, the return was real, but this news is a sigh of relief, as Robinson's injury scare isn't serious.
