It'll be interesting to see how things play out for the Cleveland Browns over the next few weeks to months. The Browns understand that they have a quarterback situation to figure out, but with Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders being as young as they are, it should likely come down to one of them.
Joe Flacco had a great year for the Browns just a few seasons ago, landing with them in the middle of the season and helping them make the playoffs. However, much older in his career than when he was in his prime, the Browns have to understand what they'll get with Flacco.
Maybe he'll give them the best chance to win some weeks, but ultimately, he isn’t a franchise quarterback anymore because of his age.
Still, there are questions about what the Browns might do with Gabriel and Sanders, but the latest depth chart suggested that Gabriel, the former Oregon standout, is still ahead of Sanders.
After that news, an ESPN insider out of Cleveland, Tony Rizzo, had some intriguing things to say about how Sanders might feel behind Gabriel and others.

"If I'm Shedeur, I'm sitting fourth on a depth chart — I know I'm better than that. I know I am. If I go into that September 7 against the [Cincinnati] Bengals and I got Dillon Gabriel and Kenny Pickett in front of me... man, I ain't going to be a happy camper,” Rizzo said.
It's unfair to say that Gabriel being in front of Sanders is an issue, as he also proved impressive things during his time at Oregon.
He's been injured and hasn't been able to play in a preseason game yet, so until Gabriel can do so, it's better to hold off to see what he has.
There's a reason the Browns selected him in the third round, before they picked Sanders, so that's something everybody has to keep in the back of their minds.
