It remains uncertain what the Dallas Cowboys' plans are after Micah Parsons requested a trade. The former Penn State edge is one of the best players in the NFL, if not the best defensive player.
However, the Cowboys have yet to offer him an extension, or one that he's willing to take. Some believe that Parsons’ trade request might be granted, while others think the Cowboys won't move on from him and will eventually do what's necessary to keep him around.

Still, after his trade request, some have proposed deals for him to be moved. That includes Zach Rosenblatt of The Athletic, who pitched an intriguing one for the Cowboys to consider with the New York Jets.
Jets trade RB Breece Hall, DE Jermaine Johnson, 2026 second-round pick, 2027 second-rounder and 2028 third-rounder for Parsons
“The Jets are not exactly in a position to be trading first-round picks, though the prospect of adding the caliber of player of Parsons is tempting. The Jets are prioritizing young players as they turn the page on the previous regime — and Parsons is still only 26, plays a premium position and would provide star power for a team that is lacking it outside of Sauce Gardner and Garrett Wilson,” he wrote.
Getting Jermaine Johnson and Breezc Hall back would certainly be a haul, especially with those two second-round picks.
However, giving up Parsons and not getting at least one first-rounder would be a bit questionable from the Cowboys' perspective.
What they're doing with the former Penn State star is already questionable, so who knows what they might do moving forward?
