Former Penn State standout and current Dallas Cowboys All-Pro Micah Parsons is still without a new contract with the team. Some thought that after Parsons requested a trade, Jerry Jones would figure things out, but that seemingly hasn't been the case.
Whether it eventually happens or not remains to be seen, but it's a situation to follow around the league.
Many former and current players have spoken about it, including Los Angeles Chargers' Derwin James. James talked to Kay Adams on her show, saying that he has nothing but respect for Parsons amid all of this drama.

“I wish nothing but the best time… But man, Micah Parsons, nothing but respect for this game,” he said.
Many NFL players have had nothing but great things to say about Parsons, as he's well-respected around the league. He's often been seen speaking with other players in the NFL, so it's safe to say that if he genuinely wants a trade and the Cowboys grant it, he might be able to go to a place where he has a few friends.
James is far from the first and will be far from the last who speaks on this situation.
Until it's figured out, the noise might only get louder, as many are wondering what the Cowboys are doing. Jones has some things to figure out, but has yet to do so during an important time.
