Four of the Elite Eight games have been set following Thursday's Sweet 16 slate. Now to take care of the other half.
The headliner of the day will also tip off the action for the second half of Sweet 16 games as top overall seed Alabama takes on 5-seed San Diego State in the East Region semifinals.
Alabama has perhaps the greatest scoring threat remaining in the tournament in Brandon Miller, whom many project to be an NBA Draft lottery pick. He, Jahvon Quinerly and Co. will take on a defensively tough San Diego State team that will seek to stymie Alabama's high-octane offense.
The next game to tip off will see Houston, the top seed of the Midwest Region, take on 5-seed Miami; the Cougars got everything they wanted in Birmingham, Ala., as they faced 9-seed Auburn in the second round and overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to win 81-64. The Hurricanes, meanwhile, are coming off a game in which they beat 4-seed Indiana 85-69 to advance to the Sweet 16.

The next game to tip off will see Creighton take on the biggest remaining surprise of the NCAA Tournament in 15-seed Princeton. The Tigers became the first Ivy League team to reach the Sweet 16, and are looking to join Saint Peter's in 2022 as only the second 15-seed to advance to the Elite Eight.
The final tipoff of the day will see 2-seed Texas — a team that beat eventual 1-seed Kansas twice in the waning weeks of the regular season — take on 3-seed Xavier. Sir'Jabari Rice and Co. managed to outlast 10-seed Penn State 71-66 in the second round, and will look to continue a run to the Elite Eight against a Xavier team that beat Pitt 84-73 in Round 2.
