The hype isn't slowing down for Mikel Brown Jr.
As the Louisville Cardinals incoming basketball freshman approaches his arrival on campus, even the greatest of the greats from UofL are taking notice.
In a social media post wondering how long it's been since Louisville had a freshman coming in like Brown, program legend Donovan Mitchell replied with one word: "Ever?"

Brown, a five-star point guard recruit from Florida, was a McDonald's All-American and has a chance to be an All-American guard as a freshman for the Cardinals.
He just led Team USA in points and assists en route to a gold medal at the U19 World Cup.

At 6-foot-4, Brown is also a threat to dunk on someone's head or drill a 3-pointer in someone's face.

It's obviously a big deal to get such high praise from Mitchell.
It also looks like he's probably right.
Brown is the truth. Louisville fans have a great season to look forward to.
