Watch Florida's 7-foot-9 Olivier Rioux cut down national championship net with no ladder image

Olivier Rioux didn't play this season, but he was impossible to miss.

The Florida redshirt freshman center is 7-foot-9. No, that's not a typo.

And on Monday in San Antonio, Rioux got to put that height to good use.

While everyone else needs a ladder to cut down a piece of the national championship net, not Rioux.

He just stood on the floor, reached up his scissors and got his small bit of net.

Rioux, who attended IMG Academy, likely still has a long way to go to become a majorly impactful college basketball player.

But on Monday night, he got a piece of the national title net, and he did it more simply than anyone else. He'll always have this memory.
