Paolo Banchero just inked a lucrative deal that will keep him in Orlando through 2030, with a player option for the 2030-2031 season.

There are some crazy stipulations around this contract that can kick in if he performs well.

What does Banchero have to do for a bonus?

If Paolo Banchero is either All-NBA, MVP or DPOY next season, he'll get an extra $48 million on his contract, elevating it to a supermax.

The bonus alone would be slightly under what he's set to make through his first four seasons in the NBA combined.

The base salary he signed is worth 5-yrs/$239 million, while the supermax would be 5-yrs/$287 million, if he earns one of the awards above next season.

DPOY or MVP is very unlikely for Banchero, but All-NBA is a strong possibility.

Banchero was already an all-star in his second season in the NBA.

In his third season, 2024-25, he would likely have been an all-star if it weren't for injuries preventing him from playing enough games before the all-star break.

Banchero averaged 25.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 46 games this past season.
