After a seventh-place finish in 2019, the United States Men's National Basketball Team is looking to get back on top at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, which begins on Friday, Aug. 25.

Before heading to the Philippines for the World Cup's Group Phase, Team USA will head to Las Vegas for training camp and the first of its five exhibition games in preparation for the tournament.

Team USA's exhibition schedule includes games in Vegas, Spain and the United Arab Emirates, with potential meetings against Luka Doncic and Dennis Schröder.

Here is everything you need to know about Team USA's schedule as it prepares for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

FIBA World Cup USA Basketball warmup schedule

After opening training camp in Las Vegas on Thursday, Aug. 3, Team USA faced Puerto Rico's national team at T-Mobile Arena. From there, the team will begin its trek to the Philippines, playing twice in Spain before traveling to UAE for two more exhibitions.

Team USA first takes the floor at the World Cup on Saturday, Aug. 26.

How to watch USA Basketball FIBA World Cup warmup games

  • Dates: Aug. 7-Aug. 20
  • TV channels: Fox, FS1
  • Live stream: Sling TV

In the United States, all five of Team USA's World Cup warmup games will air on either FS1 or Fox. Viewers in the United States can also stream games that air on FS1 with a subscription to Sling TV. Fox is available on Sling TV in a select number of designated markets.

When is the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup?

  • Dates: Aug. 25-Sept. 10
  • Locations: Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines

The 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup begins with the Group Phase on Aug. 25, 2023. The Final Phase, or elimination round, begins on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, with the championship game set for Sunday, Sept. 10 at 8:40 a.m. ET.

USA Group, schedule at 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup

The United States Men's National Team will participate in Group C and will play each game of the Group Phase at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila. Group C consists of the United States, Jordan and Greece.
