The Milwaukee Bucks have been active during the NBA offseason, but multiple teams around the league are still looking to fill out the remainder of their roster. That includes the Minnesota Timberwolves, who could add a former Bucks player.
Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic recently reported that the Timberwolves have contacted former Bucks point guard Malcolm Brogdon. A former Rookie of the Year Award winner in Milwaukee, Brogdon has yet to sign with a new team.
"The Wolves have looked into several candidates for the spot, including Malcolm Brogdon, Cam Payne and Landry Shamet, league sources told The Athletic. However, all indications are that Bones Hyland is the front-runner to get that final spot, league sources said. Hyland signed a two-way contract with the Wolves in February, played briefly in Iowa and spent the rest of his time with the Timberwolves," he wrote.

Given the success that Brogdon has found in the league, even if it's on a minimum deal, which is expected, he could be a decent piece for Minnesota. Last season, it seemed like Mike Conley lost a step or two.
Since youngster Rob Dillingham has limited experience in the NBA and the coaching staff has hesitated to allow him to prove he can be a full-time point guard, it might be in Minnesota's best interest to acquire a player of Brogdon's caliber.
The Timberwolves are looking to win a championship next season, which should entice him to head there.
