Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo gets important update amid Knicks trade rumors image

As if there were any questions outside of some strange rumors from the same faces, it sounds like Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will begin next season with the Milwaukee Bucks.

If anything has been proven over the past few years, it’s that Antetokounmpo won’t only start this season with the Bucks but finish another one with them.

Not only will he do that, but he'll likely be with the organization for a lot longer.

The two-time MVP has continued to show his loyalty to Milwaukee, and rightfully so.

Instead of trying to run him out of town, many should be applauding him for what he's done in Milwaukee, winning a championship and accomplishing plenty more.

However, that hasn't stopped some from suggesting that he could end up with the New York Knicks, despite there not being any signs indicating that he wants to leave.

To quiet down those rumors, James L. Edwards of The Athletic noted that Antetokounmpo is expected to start the season with the Bucks. At the very least, this is finally a step in the rumors dying down.

“As for the Bridges extension, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that New York waited this long into the summer to get it done. The Giannis situation has lingered (and is continuing to somewhat linger), but people I’ve talked to are fairly confident Antetokounmpo will start next season with Milwaukee. I also don’t think it’s a coincidence that the Knicks signed Bridges to an extension before Aug. 6,” Edwards wrote.

It's the NBA, and anything can change, but all Antetokounmpo has shown throughout the past few years is that he's loyal.

He's been with Milwaukee for a very long time now, and until something changes, other teams better start looking for another player.
