Duncan Robinson's Miami Heat future is in a bit of doubt.
On Sunday, according to ESPN's Shams Charania, Robinson declined his $20 million contract option.
"The decision allows Robinson to work on a longer-term deal with the Heat -- or pursue free-agent contracts and sign-and-trades elsewhere starting Monday night," Charania writes.
Robinson is 31 years old now and remains one of the NBA's best shooters.
In 2024-25, he shot 39.3% from 3-point range. Robinson averaged 11.0 points per game in total, along with 2.4 assists per game.
Robinson has had his two best assist seasons in the past two years, showing the growth of his game.

Miami's choice with Robinson may also depend on what else the Heat see on the horizon as far as other offseason moves.
If there isn't a better option out there for their money, the Heat probably have no problem bringing back Robinson.
But considering all the moving parts around the NBA, nothing is certain.
Robinson can still shoot it from his lanky 6-foot-7 frame, so he'll be valuable whatever team he winds up with. The suspense comes now as Heat fans wait to see if he sticks around.
