The Los Angeles Lakers draw the most attention in free agency because of the L.A. lifestyle that seems appealing to the players, and the ability to compete for one of the most storied franchises.

This offseason was busy, as they added DeAndre Ayton, Marcus Smart, and Jake Laravia but lost Dorian Finney-Smith, Trey Jemison, and Jordan Goodwin, to name a few.

Now that they have made most of their moves, one thing seems apparent: Will they make a move to bring in a significant piece to use up that last roster spot?

There are financial complications to consider, but the team could realistically make one final splash this summer.

One of the top candidates should be Jrue Holiday, should he reach a buyout with the Portland Trailblazers.

With Damian Lillard home and such a young core, an established guy like Holiday should be looking to compete. If he wants out of Portland, Los Angeles should be the first to call.

Although the Lakers solved their perimeter defense problem with Smart, Holiday is a guy with two championships under his belt who could provide much more.

Next would be a dream target, former No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins. This would have to be a trade, as Wiggins isn’t currently a free agent -- but the Lakers have the pieces to make it work.

A high-energy, defensive player who knows how to play off the ball and can do a little bit of everything would be the perfect final piece for the roster.

Last is the Los Angeles Clippers' Amir Coffey, who would be staying in the city but switching arenas. Last year’s first-round pick Dalton Knecht hasn’t exactly developed the way the Lakers had hoped, and his value has even dropped across the league.

Coffey could step in and be the exact sharpshooter the Lakers need off the bench, providing Knecht with a little more time to work on his game.
