The Denver Nuggets battled hard on Sunday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but fell short 92-87.
Following the game, two players got into an altercation, leading one of them to call the other “immature,” per a report by an insider
Interim Head Coach David Adelman presumably had a problem while at the post-game press conference.
Aaron Gordon and Russell Westbrook had been involved in a heated discussion taking place in the Nuggets locker room.
“Minutes after the Nuggets lost Game 2 of their first-round series against the Clippers, Adelman had a problem. While he'd been at the postgame lectern, there'd been a heated discussion between Westbrook and Gordon in the locker room," ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reported Tuesday morning. "Gordon had challenged Westbrook about his attitude. Outside the locker room, one player relayed why Gordon might've done so. ‘He's so immature,’ he said of Westbrook.”

Gordon has been the Nugget’s unsung hero so far in the playoffs, tallying two game-winners and stepping up big in the scoring department.
Westbrook also leads all scorers off the bench these playoffs, providing depth to an already thin lineup.
They are currently tied with the one-seeded Thunder at 2-2 on the series, facing off Tuesday night for game 5 in Oklahoma City. In order to defeat the juggernaut Thunder, these two key players will have to sort out their differences.
Perhaps it has something to do with the differences in performances from Game 4 that Gordon had a problem with. While he posted 15 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 assists, Westbrook struggled. He added just 6 points, 3 rebounds, and an assist in 27 minutes of play.
The two teammates will take the floor for Game 5, spending a large chunk of time on the court together. It will be interesting to see how they communicate and play alongside each other.
