Jason Kidd wants to see what Cooper Flagg can do at point guard.
The Dallas Mavericks head coach views Flagg as a position-less talent despite his classic forward size.
Considering that Flagg led Duke in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks, it's fair to assume he's capable of just about everything on a basketball court.
Point guard is an area of need for Dallas, too. Kyrie Irving tore his ACL in March and will miss much of Flagg's rookie season.
If Flagg can play the point, it opens up a world of possibilities for the Mavs.

If the Dallas Mavericks start Cooper Flagg at point guard, they're looking at a huge unit.
The projection:
- Cooper Flagg
- Klay Thompson
- P.J. Washington
- Anthony Davis
- Dereck Lively II
Thompson is the shortest guy there, and he's 6-foot-5.
The main alternative to a unit like this involves using Max Christie as a starter. Christie is a talented 2-guard who came to Dallas in the Luka Doncic trade.
Christie showed flashes of his potential after the deal, and the Mavs could end up starting him in place of either Thompson or Washington.
Dallas is still likely to sign a veteran point guard to stand-in for Irving, but right now, they have Brandon Williams and Spencer Dinwiddie under contract.
Might as well see what Flagg can do, that's for sure.
