You can almost hear it now.

A big 3-pointer by Wooga Poplar, and a whole crowd chanting "Wooooooo."

The Chicago Bulls are officially hoping that happens in their building.

Poplar has signed an undrafted free agent Exhibit 10 deal with the Bulls, according to Jon Chepkevich of Draft Express. That kind of contract incentivizes Poplar to stick with the Bulls in the G League if he doesn't earn a two-way contract in the preseason.

The 6-foot-5 Poplar hails from Philadelphia. He played three college seasons at Miami before transferring to Villanova.

In his final season for the Wildcats, Poplar averaged 15.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.

Perhaps most importantly, he shot 38.7% from 3 (after shooting 38.5% the year prior).

That's the skill that can allow Poplar to stick around the NBA.

Also of note: Wooga isn't his name.

Legally, this is Nisine Hamir Poplar. Wooga is just a nickname.
