Paul Pierce shares video of him walking to work after losing hilarious Celtics bet image

The Boston Celtics are suddenly down 2-0 to the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Semifinal round.

Ahead of Game 2, former Celtics star and current FS1 host Paul Pierce made a big promise, saying he would walk to work if Boston lost the game.

“If the Celtics lose Game 2 at home, I’m walking here tomorrow, 15 miles! In my robe, no shoes on, barefoot… Put the house on this game!”

Well, the Celtics did lose, 91-90, in Boston.

As such, Pierce ended up going through with the promise. Early Thursday morning, Pierce posted a video to his Instagram account of him walking in his bathrobe.

"I'm really walking out here like this," Pierce said. "I can't believe it. I got a long walk to go."

Pierce posted another video and said he was "sweating" with about 16 miles left to walk.

For what it's worth, Pierce continued to post updates on his Instagram page. On Wednesday night, Pierce posted a map on his Instagram that showed an eight-hour, 20-mile walk with a caption that read, "I'm cooked."

Well, at least Pierce is paying up on his promise, but we could only imagine what happens if the Celtics lose Game 3.
