Boston Celtics preseason basketball is less than three months away.

The Celtics on Wednesday unveiled their four-game preseason schedule, which features two road and two home games at TD Garden. All games will be aired on NBC Sports Boston.

Here is Boston's full preseason schedule:

Oct. 8: Celtics at Grizzlies, 8 p.m. ET
Oct. 10: Celtics at Raptors, 7 p.m.
Oct. 12: Cavaliers at Celtics, 7 p.m.
Oct. 15: Raptors at Celtics, 7:30 p.m.

The slate will give Celtics fans the first chance to see the team in action after notable changes occurred to the roster in the offseason. The Celtics traded away both Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis while seeing Luke Kornet depart in free agency. Al Horford isn't expected back, either.

Boston does have some new additions from those trades and from free agency. Anfernee Simons, who reportedly is already being shopped by president of basketball operations Brad Stevens, was the biggest piece the Celtics got back in any of the trades while Georges Niang came over in the deal for Kristaps Porzingis. Boston also signed Luka Garza and Josh Minott in free agency.

The exhibition contests will be good showcases for Boston's three-player rookie class as Hugo Gonzalez -- the No. 28 overall selection -- along with second-rounders Amari Williams and Max Shulga will get an opportunity to make a good impression.

The regular-season slate for the Celtics could start Oct. 21, which is the NBA's opening night. It is expected that the regular season schedule will be released in August.
