The engines are set to roar again in Newton, Iowa, as the 2025 Iowa Corn 350 Powered By Ethanol returns for its sophomore lap on the NASCAR Cup Series calendar.

It’s the third straight weekend of oval racing, with drivers shifting gears from a road-course-heavy stretch earlier in the summer. Back to the bump-and-grind of short-track action, the field is bracing for another high-octane battle under the Midwest sun.

Ryan Blaney was the man of the moment in last year's edition, taking the checkered flag and snagging his first of three wins during the 2024 season. William Byron and Chase Elliott weren’t far behind, filling out the podium in a race that brought the Iowa crowd to its feet.

As for Ross Chastain, the watermelon man finds himself sitting 13th in the overall standings, but thanks to a jaw-dropping charge from the back of the field to victory lane in Charlotte, his playoff ticket is already punched.

Still, he’s hit a bit of a rough patch lately, finishing outside the top 20 in five of his last six outings. That said, he’s no stranger to short-track success—top-10 finishes at both Martinsville and Bristol show he’s got the chops to bounce back when the going gets tight.

The Sporting News has everything you need to know about the Iowa Corn 350, including TV Channel, streaming options, radio station and starting grid.
