It's one of those moments that makes everyone feel a little bit older.
Marquis Grissom is coaching for the American League in the MLB Futures Game on Saturday. And his son, Marquis Grissom Jr., is pitching for the National League.
Grissom Jr. is a pitcher in the Washington Nationals organization. He's currently at Triple-A Rochester.
The righty was a 13th round pick in 2022 out of Georgia Tech.
Grissom Jr. had a 1.86 ERA at Double-A Harrisburg but it's up to 5.93 at Rochester.
In his minor league career, Grissom Jr. has a 2.99 ERA and has struck out 8.5 batters per nine innings.

His father played 17 seasons in the big leagues. Marquis Sr. was a career .272 hitter with 227 home runs and 429 steals (including seasons of 78 and 76 steals for the Montreal Expos).
It's certainly a cool little crossover on the diamond down in Atlanta, which is one of the cities Marquis Sr. played in during his long career.
Marquis Jr. is still seeking his first call to the major leagues, and he might not be too far away.
