It's been a while since Andrew Stevenson was roaming the outfielder for the Washington Nationals, but he's still a fun player for Nats fans to recall.
His latest update is sending him far away from the nation's capital, though.
Stevenson has signed a contract with the KT Wiz in the Korea Baseball Organization, according to Yonhap News. The report indicates Stevenson will make $200,000 for the rest of the 2025 KBO season.
The lefty Stevenson was a second-round pick by the Nationals in 2015.
He debuted at the MLB level in 2017. From 2017-2020, he batted .266.

In 2021, Stevenson finally got a full-time role, but he batted just .229 that season.
He spent the entire 2022 season at Triple-A.
In 2023, he joined the Minnesota Twins before heading overseas for the first time to play in Japan with the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters.
Stevenson came back to this side of the Pacific for the 2025 season. He has spent time both in Mexico, with Piratas de Campeche, and with the Triple-A Durham Bulls, an affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Now 31 years old, Stevenson will try to continue his baseball career in Korea.
There is a decent history of former MLB players going to the KBO and shining, so there's a chance Stevenson can put up some big numbers there.
He likely has one more trip back to affiliated ball in the states if he wants it, but for now, Stevenson is off for his next adventure across the Pacific.
