Suddenly, the Toronto Blue Jays are playing much better baseball than they were at the start of the season.

If the Blue Jays don't want to sell at the deadline, they need to continue this hot stretch, winning five straight.

After sweeping the Athletics over the weekend, the Blue Jays have to feel somewhat confident in what they can do throughout the remainder of the campaign.

For them to be the team they're looking to be, it'll fall largely on players like Bo Bichette, who some believe could be traded at the deadline.

While Bichette has been a polarizing player over the past year for the Blue Jays, it's important to recognize who he is.

That was only confirmed over the weekend, when he accomplished Blue Jays history.

According to an announcement from the team, Bichette became the first shortstop in franchise history to hit 100 career MLB home runs.

Had Bichette’s power numbers not dipped to start the year, he would’ve accomplished this a bit quicker.

However, he's starting to figure it out again in recent weeks. He managed to hit two home runs against the Athletics, perhaps gaining some confidence.

If the Blue Jays make Bichette available, that stat goes to show why he'd be wanted around the league.

Not only does he have some juice when he's at the top of his game, but he's led the American League in hits twice throughout his young career.

Only 27 years old, the Blue Jays have a difficult decision to make, but a future without Bichette would be strange for all parties involved.
