Fernando Tatis Jr. is an incredible baseball talent.
The Padres superstar so good that he just did something that's only been accomplished by one other player in baseball history, the immortal Heinie Zimmerman.
Who's Heinie, you ask?
He played for the Cubs and then the New York Giants in a stellar career spanning 1907-1919.
Tatis' feat came on Sunday. He had more hits, doubles, runs scored and stolen bases than the entire Diamondbacks' team.
That's the third time Tatis has put up that quartet of superior statistics in a game, the same total as Zimmerman, per OptaStats.
Fernando Tatis Jr. had his third career game where he had more hits, doubles, runs scored and stolen bases than the team he played against today.

In the most recent game in question, Tatis had four hits, three runs, two doubles and one stolen base.
As a team, the DBacks had three hits, two runs, no doubles and no steals.
Is it a bit of a fluky stat? Sure.
But it's also almost impossible to fathom, and Tatis has done it three times. With a lot of big league career to go, he could become the MLB standalone record holder in this fun feat.
