The Philadelphia Phillies have played well to start the 2025 season. Through their first 36 games of the year, they are 21-15 and in possession of the third National League Wild Card spot.
This comes after they won 95 games last year and won their first NL East title since 2011. They lost the NLDS to the New York Mets in four games.
However, while the Phillies are playing good baseball as of late, they aren't without some flaws. Most notably, they aren't getting enough production out of center field.
Andrew Wright of Newsweek notes that the Phillies could be in play for Cedric Mullins if the Baltimore Orioles decide to sell at the trade deadline.
"Mullins has been mentioned among Orioles trade candidates for a while. Much like Eflin, his next two months of the season will determine exactly how much he is coveted when the time comes," Wright said.

"If it is made known that Mullins is available, the Tigers, Royals, Phillies and Reds should jump on the phone and try to get a deal worked out."
Mullins is still an elite defensive center fielder and has hit for plenty of power this season. Despite his .237/.357/.458 slash line, he has hit seven home runs, has 21 RBI, five stolen bases and an .815 OPS.
The former All-Star would certainly give the Phillies a boost out in center field, as Brandon Marsh hasn't exactly lived up to expectations in 2025.
Mullins can give them power and can get on base frequently. The Phillies also have a good farm system with plenty of prospects that could help get a deal done with Baltimore.
We'll see where things stand at the deadline.
