Unexpected Mets fan is heartbroken over Pete Crow-Armstrong trade image

As Pete Crow-Armstrong has put together an incredible season for the Chicago Cubs, New York Mets fans have slowly realized the sad fact.

PCA was once their promising prospect.

But the Mets traded him away for a couple months of Javier Baez, and it hasn't aged well.

Crow-Armstrong made the All-Star Game as a starter in this, his first full MLB season after making his debut in 2024.

He could end up with a 40-40 campaign of homers and steals.

And one famous Mets fan just found out.

Cleveland Cavaliers superstar guard Donovan Mitchell posted this on X on Thursday:

MORE: Joe DiMaggio's hitting streak was almost much longer than 56 games

Mitchell, who is from New York City, still reps his hometown often even though he now plays in Cleveland.

He'll definitely be annoyed with the Mets for a while after finding this out.
