Athletics make decision on trading Mason Miller image

Fans of the Athletics have surely seen the rumors of a Mason Miller trade.

It makes sense that other teams would want the closer who can throw his fastball 104 miles per hour. But would the A's really trade him?

Turns out, they aren't planning on it.

USA Today's Bob Nightengale reported on Sunday that, "The Athletics have told teams they’re wasting their time by even calling: They are not trading closer Mason Miller."

The A's still have club control of Miller through 2029.

The 26-year old can be their closer for a long, long time.

He hasn't been quite as dominant this year as last, but he's still clearly one of the best bullpen aces in all of baseball.

The Athletics could command a fortune for him, if they want, but based on this report, that won't be happening.
