As each week goes by, the disparity in our QB rankings seems to grow more and more. Two quarterbacks went down last week, bringing the current total to nine backup QBs starting in Week 15. Some have proven their worth, but many are just impossible to trust. Our Week 15 fantasy QB rankings figure out who to trust and who will bust.
Carson Wentz, who was ranked No. 1 heading into this week, is out for the season with a torn ACL, and Josh McCown's surprisingly solid fantasy season came to a crashing halt after suffering a broken hand. However, three backups in Case Keenum (vs. Bengals), Jimmy Garoppolo (vs. Titans), and the newcomer Nick Foles (@ Giants) are worthy starts this week. On the other side, Brett Hundley goes back to being a backup with the likely return of Aaron Rodgers (@ Panthers). Blake Bortles, who most thought would be replaced by now, has a favorable matchup against the Texans this week.

For Wentz fantasy owners, now isn't the time for loathing, but instead moving on and finding the best possible replacement. If you can win in Week 4 by streaming a QB, you can win in Week 15. For others, our Week 15 QB rankings will help figure out your start 'em, sit 'em decision and move on to the fantasy football championship.

These rankings are for standard leagues with 6-point passing TDs.

| 6 | Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers vs. Patriots. Big Ben is red hot, averaging 30 fantasy points per game (FPPG) in his last three home games. It's kind of a mystery how the Patriots gave up three TDs to Jay Cutler after not allowing a multi-TD to a QB since Week 7. The Pats defense will rebound, but it shouldn't pose too much of a threat to Roethlisberger. |
| 7 | Philip Rivers, Chargers @ Chiefs. Rivers is averaging 24 FPPG in his last five games, and that bodes well playing against a Chiefs team allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to QBs this season. |
| 8 | Jared Goff, Rams @ Seahawks. The Seahawks defense of last year is not the same defense of this year, and the same applies to Jared Goff. The Rams are actually better on the road than at home (5-1 away, 4-3 home), and his fantasy numbers follow the same trend, averaging 21 FPPG on the road and posting one game above 21 fantasy points at home. |

| 11 | Alex Smith, Chiefs vs. Chargers. The Chiefs ran away from big plays for a couple games after their bye, but they got right back to it for the past two games. The Chargers are pretty strong against QBs, allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points and haven't allowed a multi-TD game since Week 5. Smith is a volatile QB play this week, but he could still put up a good game based on play-calling. |

| 13 | Matt Ryan, Falcons @ Bucs. In the past four games, the Bucs defense has created six turnovers, while only allowing four passing TDs. Matt Ryan has posted under 10 fantasy points in the past two games, and he's yet to post a 20-point fantasy day yet. Ryan has a low ceiling, and he'll end up middle of the pack at best. |

| 15 | Blake Bortles, Jaguars vs. Texans. Bortles has scored 20-plus fantasy points in the past three games and is ranked sixth in most QB fantasy points in the past four weeks, posting a solid 6:1 TD/INT ratio. The Texans have allowed the second-most fantasy points to QBs this season, making Bortles a solid streaming QB. |

| 17 | Nick Foles, Eagles @ Giants. In 2013, Nick Foles posted a 27:2 TD/INT season, so he's definitely no Nathan Peterman or Bryce Petty type of backup QB. Against the second-worst pass defense in the NFL, he could be worth a shot for Carson Wentz owners. |

| 19 | Derek Carr, Raiders vs. Cowboys. It's been a disappointing year for Carr, and he's only thrown one multi-TD since Week 8. Since Sean Lee returned for the Cowboys, they've stopped the run and created five turnovers in two games. |
| 20 | Marcus Mariota, Titans @ 49ers. He's had three straight games of less than 200 passing yards, all against the weakest defenses in the league. He also has a bum knee. He's worth leaving on the bench. |
