Damon Heta kicked off the action, whitewashing American Jason Brandon. Nathan Aspinall then had a stellar performance to beat Luke Littler in the game of the night.
Luke Humphries ended the American hopes of a semifinal appearance, beating Danny Lauby. Gerwyn Price cut short van Gerwen’s run in his return, winning 6-3.
Aspinall then defeated Damon Heta 7-3, showing a lot of emotion in a game that featured a big fish finish. Humphries secured a U.S. Darts final appearance against Aspinall after a 7-2 win over Gerwyn Price.
To end the evening, Humphries triumphed over Aspinall with a thrilling 8-6 win.
