Undrafted Eugene Omoruyi signs deal with Dallas Mavericks image

After going undrafted, Canadian Eugene Omoruyi has signed a deal with the Dallas Mavericks.

The Rexdale, Ontario native averaged 17.1 points on 47.3 percent shooting with the Oregon Ducks last season.

The 6-foot-6, 235-pound versatile forward gives the Mavericks some physicality in the frontcourt and some solid offensive production. Omoruyi scored in double figures in all but two games last season.

The Mavericks did not have a pick in this year's draft but acquired multiple young players as undrafted free agents, including EJ Onu (Shawnee State), Carlik Jones (Louisville) and Feron Hunt (SMU).
