The 2025 Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440 kicks off Friday at Wanneroo Raceway - currently known as CARCO.com.au Raceway - marking a historic milestone as the venue hosts its 100th Supercars Championship race; the first circuit to achieve this feat in series history.
Since its inaugural Supercars event in 1973, Wanneroo Raceway has been a cornerstone of Aussie motorsport.
This weekend, the 2.411 km, seven-turn circuit in Neerabup, about 50 km north of Perth, becomes the first to host 100 Supercars Championship races.
Mark Winterbottom joins the broadcast team
Adding to the event's prestige, one of Australia’s most accomplished Supercars drivers, Mark Winterbottom, will provide expert commentary throughout the weekend.
Nicknamed “Frosty,” he claimed the 2015 Supercars Championship title with Ford and won the Bathurst 1000 in 2013. With over 600 race starts, Winterbottom is known for his consistency, clean driving style, and leadership on and off the track.
He holds a special connection to Wanneroo Raceway, where he has secured seven victories – making his return this weekend as a broadcast commentator for the Perth Super 440 especially fitting.
