The Australian Opals are finally champions of Asia, continuing their impressive streak of medals at the event by claiming gold.
The in-form team throughout the tournament, Australia took down Japan to finally hoist the trophy, led by the eventual MVP Alex Fowler.
Alongside Fowler was Stephanie Reid in the tournament's All-Star Five, a fitting end for an Opals team claiming a long-awaited win.

"I think that our team and the players really bought into the game plan," Opals coach Paul Goriss said after the final game.
"Really happy and proud of the team for their efforts this whole week."
Even more impressive is the fact that Fowler claimed MVP in what was her Asia Cup debut, with averages of 11.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.
