For the eighth year in a row, Wimbledon will see a first-time women's champion crowned as Amanda Anisimova and Iga Swiatek meet in this year's final on Saturday.

Anisimova produced one of the best performances of her career to battle past World No 1 Aryna Sabalenka to make her first grand slam final. The 23-year-old is aiming to become the first American since Serena Williams in 2016 to conquer the grass-court major.

On the other hand, Swiatek has been dominant en route to her first-ever Wimbledon final, with the five-time grand slam winner only dropping one set so far in the tournament. The 'Queen of clay' has broken through the mental block on grass to score convincing victories, including a 6-2, 6-0 win over Belinda Bencic in the semifinal.

Should Swiatek win on Saturday, she will become the first Polish player to win the Wimbledon title during the Open Era (since 1968). Additionally, she will be the youngest woman to have won a grand slam titles on all three surfaces since Serena Williams in 2002.
