The Hobart International returns once again to the Australian summer of tennis - commencing January 6.

Emma Navarro won the 2024 event and used it as a springboard to rise as high as no.8 in the world.

Dayana Yastremska and Elise Mertens make up the top two seeds respectively, while Amanda Anisimova should also be a contender.

The total prize pool for the WTA 250 event is US$275,094 (AU$443,772).
