Culibao and Choi traded violent exchanges throughout the fight, with Culibao coming close to finishing Choi multiple times in the first two rounds, only for Choi to return the favour.

Ultimately, the judges saw the fight as incredibly close, the final scorecards reading 28-29, 29-28, 29-28 in favour of the Australian.
This was Culibao's tenth professional MMA win, and his first in over a year, after defeating Shayilan Nuerdanbieke in mid-2021.
