Joseph Sua'ali'i's Super Rugby season is likely over.
The NSW Waratahs star has suffered a small fracture in his jaw, which will require an operation.
He sustained a concussion following a nasty collision on Friday against the Queensland Reds, but "settled well" in the days after.
However, the 21-year-old developed soreness that was ultimately diagnosed as an undisplaced fracture.

Sua'ali'i will now sit out for at least four weeks before the club reviews his situation.
The Waratahs are currently eighth in the Super Rugby standings and face a tall task to make the finals.
"This is unfortunate for us and especially for Joseph," Waratahs head coach Dan McKellar said.
"We wish him all the best in his recovery and return to full health."

The code-hopper may also be racing the clock ahead of Australia's first Test match of the year – a clash with Fiji on July 6.
The highly anticipated British & Irish Lions tour will then kick off on July 19.
"We will do all we can to facilitate his recovery in consultation with Rugby Australia to have him in the best shape possible for his availability for the Wallabies," McKellar added.
Suaalii debuted for the Wallabies in November and has earned four caps to date.
