QLD Maroons team news

Hayley Maddick and Georgia Hannaway will make their Origin debuts in Game 3.

Maddick comes in for Tamika Upton – who has withdrawn with a hip injury – at fullback, while Hannaway finds a spot on the bench.

Captain Ali Brigginshaw initially shifted to lock, which sees Lauren Brown take over the reins at halfback.

The former is replacing Keilee Joseph, who has been ruled out due to medical reasons. Destiny Brill has also made a return and will start at hooker.

In two late changes, Brigginshaw has dropped to the pine with Chelsea Lenarduzzi handed a start. Meanwhile, Emily Bass has been brought into the backline at the expense of Rory Owen.
