The Brisbane Broncos have been dealt a late setback ahead of their Round 18 clash with the Canterbury Bulldogs, with Jesse Arthars ruled out of the side alongside teammate Corey Jensen.
As reported by The Courier-Mail, both players have been withdrawn from the line-up, forcing a reshuffle just days out from kick-off.

While the club hasn’t formally disclosed the reasons for Arthars' absence, his omission is understood to be injury-related.
Opportunity knocks for Hoeter and Talty
With Arthars out, Delouise Hoeter steps in to cover the outside backs, while journeyman forward Ben Talty is set to make his debut for the Broncos after joining the club recently on a train-and-trial deal.

Talty, who’s spent time at the Newcastle Knights and starred at NSW Cup level with the North Sydney Bears, brings valuable versatility to the Brisbane bench.
“I can bring a lot of impact to the team, and I feel as though my leg speed suits the modern game of NRL,” Talty said upon signing. “The Club is so good to be a part of, and it kind of brings you to another level.”
The dual omission of Arthars and Jensen puts Brisbane’s depth to the test, but also opens the door for fresh faces to make a statement under the Friday night lights.
