The North Queensland Cowboys are set to play away to the Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park in Round 14 of the 2025 NRL season.

The Storm made a respectable start to the season after winning four of their first five games. They lost two of their next three games, though, which caused them to fall behind the Bulldogs, who are currently atop the ladder.

They rebounded with a 64-0 demolition of the Wests Tigers, but lost to the Sharks. But after defeating the Titans last weekend, the Storm resumed their winning ways and are currently ranked fourth.

After Round 3, the Cowboys were anchored to the bottom of the ladder after suffering three consecutive losses, the worst start to their campaign. But in a moment of worry, Todd Payten's team showed their resilience by winning four games before losing to the Warriors again.

Before losing to the Sea Eagles in their Round 10 matchup, they pulled off an incredible 12-point comeback against the Panthers in a 30-30 draw. Following their victory over the Wests Tigers last weekend, they are currently ranked sixth on the ladder.
