Round 14 of the 2025 NRL season will see the ladder leaders, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs face off against the second-last placed side, the Parramatta Eels at the Accor Stadium in Sydney on Monday.

The Bulldogs had an unbeaten start through the opening six rounds as the side took six wins and took their place atop the ladder. They suffered their first defeat in Round 8 against the Brisbane Broncos, but followed it up with three victories on the trot.

Last weekend, the Bulldogs suffered their second loss of the 2025 home-and-away season after their surprise defeat to the Dolphins. They currently sit atop the NRL ladder with a two-point lead despite having played two games fewer than their competitors.

The Eels, have been on the other end of the spectrum, as they began their campaign with five losses and two wins in the openign seven rounds. They then followed up with two more losses.

However, the last three games have seen Parramatta take two wins followed by their loss tp the Penrith Panthers last week. Regardless, they are still the second lowest placed side in NRL so far with the Titans being the only other side with a worse record.
