It’s official. Christian Wolfe’s Dolphins are on a tear.
Since Round 12 the Redcliffe-based outfit has registered a stunning +140 for and against, with an average scoreline of 53-6—banishing early season concerns of the so-called ‘Bennett Curse’ to the dust bin.
As highlighted by CODE Sports, the Dolphins are now one of just six teams in premiership history to win three consecutive games by 36 points or more, having belted the Bulldogs, Dragons and a hapless Cowboys on Saturday night.
In their last three matches, the Dolphins have crossed for a staggering 27 tries whilst conceding just three.

It’s been a remarkable turnaround, in sharp contrast to the four consecutive losses that anchored the Dolphins to outright last place at the start of the 2025 season.
Since Round 5, the men in red and gold have registered seven wins from 10 matches, surging to 6th on the NRL ladder off the back of blistering attack and a new-found steel in defence.
“I think they’ll play finals,” Greg Alexander said on SEN 1170 on Monday morning, saving special praise for the young Dolphin’s halfback.
“I think Isaiya Katoa has been the best player in the competition over the last three weeks.”
Should Wolfe’s squad continue on its current trajectory, they’re on track to record the highest ever ‘Post Bennett’ finish —and potentially even be the first side to crack the Top 4.
Phins up, indeed.
