The Wests Tigers, who ended the 2024 season as the worst team with just two wins across the season, have started their 2025 home-and-away season just as badly as they suffered a debilitating 28-4 loss to the Brisbane Broncos in Round 1 with Caitlin Turnbull scoring their only points with a try in the first half at the Totally Workwear Stadium.
Just over a year ago, the Bulldogs announced that they would be entering the NRLW starting in 2025, and they definitely arrived in great fashion. In Round 1, they defeated the Newcastle Knights in a 26-12 win which saw Ashleigh Quinlan convert two tries while Tayla Preston completed three of five conversions.
