The New Zealand Warriors are set to host the Wests Tigers in Round 19 of the National Rugby League (NRL) season at the Go Media Stadium in Auckland.

The Warriors started their 2025 season strongly, winning eight of their first 10 matches. However, their recent form has dipped slightly, with just two wins and three losses in their last five outings. That slide has seen them drop to fourth on the ladder, now sitting four points behind the ladder-leading Canberra Raiders.

In contrast, the Wests Tigers had a mixed beginning to the season, picking up five wins from their opening 10 games. Things quickly turned sour as they suffered five consecutive defeats, though they managed to snap that losing streak with a much-needed victory over the Roosters last weekend. They head into their clash with the Warriors placed 14th on the NRL ladder.

The two sides faced off in Round 4 earlier this season; it was a closely contested win for the Warriors, who came back from behind to win 26-24 at the Campbell Sports Stadium.
