The Sydney Roosters are back in action as they face off against the Canberra Raiders in Round 13 of the 2025 NRL season at the Accor Stadium in Sydney.
Despite five Roosters stars departing for the Origin last week, their young guns stepped up in their 42-16 win over the Sharks. Youngsters Benaiah Ioelu and Xaveri Va'a made their debuts, with Va'a needing just 45 seconds to get on the scoresheet.
All five of their Origin stars have returned without any injury, which will boost their hopes ahead of a tough clash against the Raiders. They will also look to improve on their record at the Allianz Stadium, where they have won just one of four matches this season.
Meanwhile, the Raiders also come into this clash after an emphatic win in a top-of-the-ladder clash against the Warriors. With the win in New Zealand, they have moved up to second place.
Hooker Tom Starling has been suspended for this week and has been replaced by Owen Pattie in the starting lineup. Back rower Hudson Young has also returned from the Origin as the Raiders look to complete a fourth win over the Roosters in five recent meetings.
