Sandon Smith could be on his way out of the Roosters.
According to News Corp, there is a chance the rising playmaker departs Bondi at the end of 2025.
It comes amid multiple reports that Daly Cherry-Evans will sign with the Tricolours next season.
The veteran half may push Smith out of the starting side despite the latter's promising form.

The 22-year-old has made 39 appearances for the Chooks since debuting in 2023.
He has thrived in Sam Walker's absence this campaign, notably in recent weeks alongside fellow young gun Hugo Savala.
After an underwhelming start to the season, the Roosters have won three of their last four matches.
They are now equal on points with the Broncos, who occupy the last finals place.

Smith's contract with the Roosters expires next year, meaning he can negotiate with rival clubs from November 30.
His "likely destination", should he secure an early exit, is the Cowboys.
If a move to North Queensland transpires, he could form an imposing halves pairing with Origin representative Tom Dearden.
