Veteran halfback Adam Reynolds has reportedly turned down a $1.5 million contract offer from the Wests Tigers to remain in Brisbane.

As reported by Code Sports, the 34-year-old will opt instead for a one-year extension with the Broncos worth around $500,000.

After 300 NRL games, Reynolds seems content to finish his decorated career under Michael Maguire in Brisbane.

His agent Steve Gillis said as much, emphasising the comfortability of his young family in the area.

"Adam wants to finish his career at Brisbane," said Gillis.

"His family is settled there, so that’s what we are working towards."

Now that the Lachlan Galvin saga is in the rear view mirror, the Tigers have put their eggs in the Latu Fainu basket as the long-term halves partner of Jarome Luai.

Reynolds would've provided a short-term boost to the side's premiership chances and become a sounding board for the inexperienced, but supremely talented 20-year-old.

Instead, he will remain in a three-player halves carousel with Ben Hunt and Ezra Mam, as they attempt to bring a premiership to Red Hill.

Whilst an official deal hasn't yet been announced by the club, the Broncos will be glad to regain some certainty in what has been a rollercoaster start to the 2025 season.

Reynolds and his teammates are currently sitting tentatively inside the top-eight, with six wins and seven losses with the bye in Round 15.
