While the 18-6 scoreline doesn't necessarily tell the full story, those who watched the game would know how physical and relentless the Blues were against their interstate rivals.
Laurie Daley had both his backs and forwards thriving, as they made tough carry after tough carry.
The result notably marked the Blues' third consecutive State of Origin win.

NSW last won three on the trot across 2005 and 2006.
Game 1 was also a second straight victory for the Blues at Suncorp Stadium.
They most recently achieved that feat in 1998.
Considered one of the most imposing venues in Australian sport, that hasn't seemed to bother NSW in recent outings.
Last night, they quietened the crowd from the get-go before an 11-minute flurry in the first half – where they scored three unanswered tries – stunned the home fans.

The action will head west to Perth on June 18, where NSW can kill the series with a win.
