NSW captain Isaah Yeo delivered a classy concession speech after his state’s 24-12 loss to Queensland in the Origin decider.
He was gracious in defeat, acknowledging the Maroons’ impressive series comeback after dropping Game I at home.
The 30-year-old also singled out Queensland captain Cameron Munster, who played just days after his father’s death.
"First of all, I just want to congratulate Billy [Slater], Cameron and the Queensland team. Outstanding," Yeo said in his concession speech.

"Obviously, dropping the first game and then being able to sort of come back and win [the series].
"Touching on Cameron, the week you've just had, mate, it's an incredibly brave effort, and you can tell the boys rallied behind. You did a phenomenal job."
The lock then had some words for the NSW supporters.
80,256 fans packed out Accor Stadium on Wednesday night.
"To the Blues supporters, I just want to thank you so much for your unwavering support throughout the series. I know tonight wasn't our night, but we want to thank you a lot for that," he said.

Yeo also gave the Blues staff a special mention, emphasising the behind-the-scenes work that goes into making it all possible.
"Then, not just our players but the Blues staff have done a wonderful job," the NSW captain added.
"You're a tremendous bunch of people and I love coming to these camps.
"Obviously, tonight wasn't our night, but I've loved every moment of it, and I guess sometimes this is what can happen.
"You ride the highs and that's why the highs are so good and the lows are so bad, because it's so much pressure and that.
"But I just want to thank everyone for all your support, you've done a wonderful job.
"I just want to say I really appreciate some of you reaching out to me during the week. It just shows how good rugby league is.
"Family's bigger than the sport, and I just want to say thank you for rallying behind me. It doesn't go unnoticed, and it's a testament to all you guys' characters.
"I'm in awe of all you guys, and you'll be back bigger and better next year."
