Sea Eagles pair Daly Cherry-Evans and Haumole Olakau'atu were hit with bans after both being involved in a dangerous throw on Shaun Lane during Friday night's win over the Eels.

Meanwhile, South Sydney's woes grew following a last-minute moment of madness by Taane Milne on Thursday night.

The Rabbitohs centre will be spending some time on the sidelines following his poor attempt at tackling Cameron Munster.

Dragons young gun Tyrell Sloan also copped two charges in his side's Anzac Day thumping at the hands of the Roosters.

Take a look at all the Round 8 NRL Judiciary charges below:

Daly Cherry-Evans to seek downgrade for dangerous tackle charge

Sea Eagles duo Cherry-Evans and Olakau'atu were both issued with two-match bans after a dangerous throw tackle on Lane.

In the fourth minute against the Eels, Olakau'atu lifted Lane in a tackle with the Parramatta second rower's neck hitting the ground before being substituted.

Cherry-Evans was also involved in the lift and was given an identical suspension to Olakau'atu.

However, the Manly skipper was successfully able to have his charge downgraded at the judiciary.

He has now been charged with a grade one offence, and will be able to play in Round 9.

Cherry-Evans argued that there was little he could do in the tackle, and was not responsible for the lifting action.

"I don’t think it will shame anyone to say they are both big guys – 6'4" & 6'5" tall – so I don’t think I could do anything there," he said on Tuesday night.

Taane Milne suspended over Cameron Munster tackle

The struggling South Sydney Rabbitohs will likely be without Milne for at least two matches following an at-best clumsy tackling attempt on Cameron Munster in his sides' Anzac Day defeat to Melbourne.

In the final play of the game, Milne dived at the legs of Munster while three of his Souths teammates held the Storm playmaker up.

The incident prompted an angry response from Munster's teammates and saw Milne sent to the sinbin.

Milne has been charged with grade three dangerous contact and will miss two matches with an early guilty plea or risk a third if his fights the ban and loses.

The Rabbitohs play the Panthers, Dragons and Cowboys over the next three weeks.

Tyrell Sloan cops two fines in Dragons drubbing

Young fullback Sloan copped two dangerous contact charges in his side's heavy defeat at the hands of the Roosters.

St George Illawarra went down 60-18, while Sloan will be $2,000 lighter in the pocket if he takes the early plea on two separate incidents involving Sam Walker and Luke Keary.
