Nelson Asofa-Solomona set for ban after elbow

'NAS' has been hit with a Grade 2 dangerous contact charge after elbowing Simpkin at AAMI Park.

In the following play, Harry Grant went on to score a try, but a video review found the Melbourne prop had committed an offence, which saw Manly awarded a penalty.

The match review committee's findings mean Asofa-Solomona will serve a two-match ban with an early guilty plea.

If 'Big Nasty' challenges unsuccessfully, he could face three weeks on the sidelines.
