NRL 2023: Trials schedule, results and how to watch image

The summer of cricket is over, and the Australian Open has had its crowning moment which means the new NRL season looms large on the horizon.

The men’s and women’s Maori vs Indigenous All-Stars matches broke new ground in New Zealand during the first week of the trials, while the return of the World Club Challenge for the first time in three years between Penrith and St Helens will headline the pre-season.

The Charity Shield between St George and South Sydney will serve as a precursor to the WCC in Mudgee, while the Dolphins will play their first game at home to round out all the action on Sunday.
